With Covid-19 and national lockdowns causing severe impacts to teaching and learning, there has been much speculation about what a school’s curriculum ‘should’ look like. There has been much debate around the concept of a ‘recovery curriculum’ and whether we should place pressure on students to ‘catch up’, as well as speculation about the future of blended learning provision. In addition, the relatively new Ofsted Education Inspection Framework, with a renewed focus on curriculum, having only been introduced prior to the disruption of last year, is an important consideration for school leaders.

Join our Curriculum Conference to hear from a range of practitioners, academic experts, and colleagues from North East schools on the subject of curriculum moving forwards, and be part of the conversation about ‘recovery’ and ‘catch up’ and what we want to see as we return to delivery of the curriculum in classrooms. In addition this is an opportunity to connect with your colleagues across the region to share ideas and best practice.
