Widening Horizons Programme
For the attention of Headteachers and Deputy Headteachers
We would like to invite you to a breakfast seminar at 8am on Friday 6th July 2012 at the Cobalt Business Exchange, North Tyneside.
Over the last ten years we have been increasingly aware of the divisions between the training provision within the public and private sector. Also within the education system we have different training organisations for local government, Further Education and maintained schools.
We believe ‘cross sector’ professional development is of critical importance as education leaders increasingly become involved in new forms of governance and leadership.
Our Widening Horizons development programme which has been designed in partnership with some deputy headteachers within the north east can be downloaded on our website (www.northerneducation.com) We believe the approach is radical and unique and absolutely necessary in the modern educational world. We will have a limited number of places for the first programme, possibly up to fourteen delegates. We will also be inviting colleagues from the sectors listed above.
