University Explained is a joint event between the five North East Universities to help parents/carers support their son or daughter in the decisions they will have to make regarding university.

The programme will offer a range of informal sessions that address common questions, such as:

-          Which course and university?
-          What happens during the application process?
-          What financial and transitional support is available for students?
-          What are the career options?

The event is aimed at parents/carers of pupils who are currently studying in Year 10, 11 or 12/first-year college, but open to any parent/carer who has an interest in finding out more.
