Trust Leader Development Training

This practical 5 day course will be delivered over a 10 week period and will significantly upskill those leading in emerging, developing and expanding Trusts. Commencing 25th March 2020.

With sessions on organisational models, culture & vision, financial management and more, the course will be relevant for a range of roles within trust central teams or schools considering forming a Trust depending on where you are on your journey.

Key topics include:

* Culture & Vision
* Managing the impact of expansion
* Operational and governance models
* The nature of changes to key leadership roles in a MAT
* MAT funding streams and HR responsibilities
* Legal responsibilities, and the practicalities of MAT financial management
* The importance of Risk Management, and how to carry this out
* Communications and brand

You will establish a personal network of colleagues for ongoing support and a resource toolkit of templates and information that can be adopted within your own Trust.

Learning visits to Trusts across the region will support you with insight into how topics work in practice.

The course will be delivered by Trust leaders from across the region and supported by appropriate experts from law, accountancy, procurement, and HR.

All delegates will also receive access to The Key for Trust Leaders throughout the course. This will provide you with access to best-practice advice to help you set your financial strategy, centralising services, and more.
