Football Tournament 2012

The Education Network is pleased to announce the FIRST annual South Tyneside Primary Schools Football Tournament.

The Education Network will be organising the tournament on the day and will provide all of the officials, trophies and equipment.  The tournament will be a 7-a-side competition for mixed teams of boys and girls from the South Tyneside area.

The tournament will be a round robin format. Each child participating will receive a medal and at the end of the competition the Education Network Trophy will be awarded to the winning school along with a prize of their choice to the equivalent of £200.  The winning School will also receive an engraved plaque to keep for the year before passing on to next years winners of the tournament.

We are hoping that this will be the first of many tournaments which will bring together Primary schools in the local community. 

The focus of the event will be on participation and having fun
