The Cambridge Colleges' Regional Teachers' Roadshow

As well as events for prospective students, the Cambridge, the Cambridge Admissions Office runs a series of information days and confremces aimed specifically at teachers, tutors and HE advisers to provide up-to-date information about the University of Cambridge, the application procedure and the range of outreach activities on offer

 

The Colleges of the University of Cambridge are delivering a series of informal information seminars for teachers held in venues across the country as part of the Area Links Scheme. These events will be useful for those who are new to supporting Cambridge applicants and those mor familiar with the application process.They will be run by experienced Admissions Tutors and Schools Liaison Officers who will provide an overview of the University and its courses and offer teachers and advisers specific advice on how best to support students in making a competitive application. Key points of discussion will include how best to guide KS4 students in selecting subjects to study at sixth form, what Cambridge is looking for in UCAS references and personal statements, and how to prepare students for an academic interview.
