4th February 2016, Newcastle upon Tyne, 9-4pm

This is an excellent training opportunity for Teaching Assistants working within Key Stage 3 and/or 4, within a secondary school. The development programme will provide an opportunity for subject knowledge enhancement to ensure delegates have an awareness of the topics covered by Mathematics at Key Stages 3 and 4.

The programme has been developed in collaboration with Maths Teachers and Subject Leaders across the North East region, ensuring it is both relevant and beneficial to the classroom. It will be delivered over two sessions with an interim task for delegates to carry out.

The programme will be delivered by Mr Craig Orwin, himself a Secondary Maths Teacher and an accredited professional development lead with the National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM).
