In September 2015, Ofsted made far-reaching changes to the way it inspects schools, introducing a common inspection framework and shorter inspections for schools judged good at their last full inspection.

SCHOOLS NorthEast has set up a series of termly events with Ofsted to support schools in the region to keep current on all information regarding inspections. Each event will include a general update, followed by further discussion on a particular theme. This term, there will be a focus on governance.

These termly update sessions will be held in three venues across the region (North, Central and South) to maximise the opportunity for school leaders to attend.

This event in the South of the region will be held on Thursday 3 March, 2:00pm - 4:00pm, at Inspire2 Learn, Normanby Road, South Bank, Middlesbrough, TS6 9AE.
