The launch event of SOLE Central will draw together academics, teaching professionals and businesses based in the North East who are interested in finding out more about the inspirational work of Professor Sugata Mitra, winner of the 2013 $1m TED Prize.
In 1999, Sugata Mitra carried out his hole in the wall experiments in Delhi in India and made the remarkable discovery that groups of children, with access to the internet, can learn almost anything.
