CPL Group are always looking for ways to support the education purchasing community.

This time, with the support of Reed Screening one of the CPC's Employee Screening Services framework suppliers, we are delighted to offer you a webinar discussing the benefits to the education sector of the Social Care Project - Sharing Effective References & Conduct Information.

An event covering a fascinating insight in to the world of references. Reed Screening will be providing an update on their collaborative project with Skills for Care, Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS), Dominic Headley & Associates, and VBA Consulting which is titled ‘Sharing Effective References & Conduct Information’. You’ll also hear about common issues, myth-busting, and innovation.

UK companies have been conducting references for decades yet, on the whole, references remain poorly executed, misunderstood and much maligned. Bringing together the best in the industry, this webinar looks at why referencing is such a problem and what value they bring. Whilst the project is currently focussed on Social Care, there are many benefits to the education sector that are being seen as outputs.

Whilst there are guidelines that are adhered to within the education sector, there are benefits that Reed have taken from this project that could improve and streamline processes for you.

Questions such as how do we take the much maligned reference process and make it a key part of modern hiring, what is the role of standardising, innovation, technology, and safeguarding will be covered.

Date: Thursday 22nd April

Time: 13:00-14:00
