SNE Education Wake Up Call with Neil Carberry

6th Dec 2013

The Friday join CBI Director for Employment and Skills Neil Carberry at this informal breakfast to share your views and ask any burning questions regarding what employers want from school leavers, careers education, school partnerships with business and skills.

This issue is particularly topical as CBI Chief John Cridland told The Times last week that many schools produced pupils who were ‘exam robots’.  He warned that business leaders wanted more focus from schools on creativity, curiosity, tenacity, self-confidence and good manners, as well as high academic standards.

Take part in the conversation by attending this breakfast at Middlesbrough College between 7.30am and 9.30am this Friday 6 December. Email r.clegg@schoolsnortheast.com to book your place.
