About the event
This half term, we are holding our CEO roundtable as a physical event where we will be joined by a guest speaker, Leora Cruddas, CEO, Confederation of School Trusts.
Leora will speak with us about what she sees as the most significant issues and challenges facing schools and trusts, which will be the focus of her pre-General Election lobbying with government and the media. This will provide attendees with an important opportunity to start thinking and discussing education policy as we approach what will likely be a general election year.

 

Our roundtables this academic year will have a more strategic focus, looking in detail at individual policy issues and showcasing the solutions and good practice in our region, allowing North East schools to ‘lead not plead’. Conversations at these roundtables will inform Schools North East’s policy lobbying work, and help us refresh our recommendations in our 2019 Manifesto for North East Education.
