Don’t mend them, empower them! This year’s ReTHINK Conference looks at practical and innovative ways that schools can support students to improve their self-efficacy and mental health. In developing approaches which help students to help themselves, schools can improve student approaches to both academic study and personal wellbeing as well as free up scant resources to support young people in real need.
There will be keynote speeches on the power of coaching for both teachers and learners with workshops for primary and secondary practitioners on issues such as consent, coaching techniques, calling out bullying and the power of sleep, as well as a chance to network with colleagues from other schools.
With refreshment and lunch included (we take wellbeing seriously!), there promises to be something for everyone and ideas that will get you thinking and effecting change in your school from the next day.
