We’ll discuss current trends and the problems that schools are encountering with TA recruitment, and the new initiative introduced to attract and train talented individuals who are genuinely seeking a career within education, to help meet the rising demand.
About our speakers:
Gareth Gaston, Regional Director (North), The Edwin Group
Gareth has worked in education recruitment for 12 years and joined Vision for Education in 2012. The former Newcastle Secondary Branch Manager supported schools across the North East before becoming a Regional Director for The Edwin Group, managing the primary, secondary and SEND divisions within our northern branches. He is on the management committee of NEP SCITT and was previously a Governor at Whitley Bay High School from 2013 to 2021.
Matthew Paul, Newcastle Primary Branch Manager, Vision for Education
Mathew started his education recruitment career as a Primary Consultant at Vision for Education’s Newcastle branch in 2013. He has provided a first-class recruitment service to primary schools across the North East for almost a decade, and successfully worked his way up to become the Primary Branch Manager in 2017.
