With ever-increasing pressure on school budgets, accountability, and industry competition, policymakers and practitioners are increasingly turning to educational research to information best practice in the classroom.
In this session, leading educational researchers will present on a wide range of subject areas that will stimulate debate, and provide some very practical tools for classroom use - all proven to work in school and all underpinned by sound research.
This one day event will bring together leaders across a range of educational fields; academics, researchers, practitioners and policymakers, to share, discuss and debate positive strategies for promoting pupil progress in school - centred on proof of 'what works'.
This event has been created to provide an opportunity for individuals currently working in or looking to work in education with the opportunity to hear and discuss the latest research findings from Early Childhood Education and Care, Centre for Evaluation and Monitoring and National Association of Head Teachers. Sessions will cover teaching practices and the impact on improving pupil outcomes.
