Ofsted Update 2022

Join us on Thursday 24th November for the annual Schools North East Ofsted update event this autumn term where we will be joined by Katrina Gueli, Regional Director, North East, Yorkshire & Humber, Belita Scott, Senior HMI, North East.

 Katrina was Regional Director, East Midlands from August 2019 to May 2022. She also took on responsibility for North East, Yorkshire and Humber in April 2022.
Previously, she was a Senior HMI, assistant regional director and regional director in North East, Yorkshire and Humber.
Before being appointed as one of Her Majesty’s Inspectors in 2007, Katrina worked as a senior leader in schools and as a local authority adviser.

 Belita Scott has considerable leadership experience in education as a headteacher of an outstanding school, as a local authority school improvement partner (including for pupil referral units) and as a member of the management committee of an outstanding provider of school-centred initial teacher training. Belita’s particular areas of expertise are in school improvement, particularly in those schools facing the most challenging circumstances. She has postgraduate qualifications in international educational leadership.

Time: Morning event - 9am - 11.30am (Registration from 8.15am)
          Afternoon event - 1pm - 3.30pm (Registration 12:15pm)

This event is a half day event, it will be repeated during the day and you can attend either the morning or afternoon session.
