North East Policy Network Event

1st Oct 2015

Did you know that the inconsistency between outcomes for poor kids in different areas of the country is bigger than the gap in outcomes between rich and poor? We know that it’s possible to narrow the gap – London in particular has shown us that it can be done. But how do we now scale this progress across the country and what are the barriers to doing so?

Join Sam Freedman, Executive Director at Teach First and a former policy advisor to Michael Gove, to discuss one overriding barrier that will come to the fore in the next few years – the crisis of capacity in the education system.

If you could please RSVP to  spermall@teachfirst.org.uk, Reminder email with final details (including an exact venue) on Wednesday 30 September.
