New To Teaching Workshop: Mental Health First Aid

The Higher Education Academy Health & Social Care Cluster is happy to offer a full day workshop as part of the 2013 New to Teaching workshop series

This workshop is aimed at colleagues who support Health & Social Care students, both under and post graduate, and may be required to address issues relating to the Mental Health of students, colleagues or oneself.

The workshop programme will consist of sessions aimed at raising awareness and developing action plans to implement the knowledge that you will acquire. Emphasis will be placed on both reflection and practical application.
Attendees of this workshop will be eligible to receive a certificate from the Royal Society for Public Health for completion of the MHFA (Lite) - an introductory mental health awareness course
