The Sensory Perspective as to why they occur and strategies to alter those behaviours.            

Aim
This one day course is designed to help educational staff and other professionals expand their knowledge of conditions such as ADHD,DCD, Autism and Sensory Processing Difficulties. It will provide an understanding of why sensory processing difficulties affect the child’s behaviour and attention skills. It will consolidate your knowledge and deliver a range of activities to assist educational staff and professionals in school and classrooms to  implement activities to assist the child.

Objectives
After completion of the course the participants will be able to:-
Identify signs of clinical conditions.
Recognise the possible sensory cause of behaviours.
Consider sensory issues and the effect on the child’s behaviour.
Implement the concept of sensory lifestyle activities.

Cost
£100 per day per candidate Includes tea/coffee. Please bring a packed lunch.
