George Stephenson Teaching School Alliance will offer, in collaboration with NETSP, the National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL) starting in the Summer term of 2015.
This qualification is intended for senior leaders who have significant cross school responsibilities, including experienced middle leaders, assistant heads, special educational needs co-ordinators , advanced skills teachers and SLEs. The qualification will benefit all senior staff looking for further professional development.
The programme will enable you to become a highly effective senior leader, exploring the motivations and behaviours of successful leadership and ways to improve the quality of teaching, learning and outcomes for pupils. To achieve the qualification you will need to complete 4 modules as well as a final assessment, based on your work in school.

Induction - 5th May 2015
Module 1 - 2nd Jun, 7th July 2015
Module 2 - Sept and Oct 2015
Continuing into the Autumn term, with a completion date in February 2016. All sessions will be held at George Stephenson High School in Killingworth, North Tyneside, from 1.00-6.00pm, and will include lunch and refreshments.
The overall course fee is £1280 (discounted from £1400).
