“Mr Benn” STEM careers project

25th Feb 2015

This programme (named after the famous children’s TV character) will be run by The Key and aims to educate and inspire young people about future STEM opportunities by enabling them to create and experience their own career exploration projects with support from potential future employers.

This pilot project is focused on young people using the Key model to explore STEM career options and design their own industry experiences with the support of a facilitator from a local company. This will culminate in a youth-led careers Expo event in July 2015 which the young people will deliver.

What we need: 100 young people aged between 14 and 15, split between a number of North East schools (maximum 20 per school).
