Maximise the Impact of Teaching Assistants

The 'Maximise the Impact of Teaching Assistants' workshop will be facilitated by Professor Anthony Russell from the Institute of Education in London and Mencap.  They are looking for the Headteacher (SLT representative) and the SENDCO to attend this initial workshop from 25 schools in the North East.  It will be an opportunity to hear about the research findings from several studies on this topic and will be followed by future workshops aimed at classroom practitioners which can be accessed by all North East Schools delivered by Town End Teaching School Alliance in order to help improve the use of TAs through the sharing of the research and examples of good practice from our own region.
