Marketing and Promoting your school

This workshop is for school business managers or those with responsibility for, or interest in, marketing and promotion in your school or academy. The focus is on school marketing and promotion, while taking into consideration the need to achieve value-for-money in the use of time and resources, as well as other challenges that arise when developing a positive communications strategy for a school.

The aims of the workshop are to:

  • establish a vision of the preferred perception of your school
  • ensure you can identify your school's unique feature(s) and understand the risks and opportunities when it comes to communicating it
  • establish how you communicate to your customers and potential customers now - and its effectiveness
  • identify how to evaluate results and ignore distractions
  • clarify how to create a promotion and marketing plan for your school, including practical every day activities
  • formulate an effective system to monitor, evaluate and amend your strategic plan

The event will take place on 23rd November, 2012 at Close House Hotel, Wylam, Newcastle upon Tyne between 9.30pm and 4pm.
