Making Progress in Primary: Advice on implementing Baseline Assessment and tracking pupil progress

18th Mar 2015

From September 2016, schools in England will be required to demonstrate expected levels of progress from a baseline in reception or by meeting attainment standards at the end of KS2. Schools choosing to implement a reception baseline will be encouraged by the government to have an accredited assessment in place from September 2015.

This half-day event, supported by the Centre for Evaluation and Monitoring (CEM), Durham University, has been designed by SCHOOLS NorthEast to provide further information about measuring progress in primary schools and implementing baseline assessment.

Speakers at this event include Katherine Bailey, Director of Business Development at CEM. Further speakers will be confirmed shortly.
