Why this event will be awesome
Mentors will show you some quick and easy tools to play around with websites, apps, music and more - it's the chance for kids to learn something new, be creative with tech and have fun! Since kids are now being taught computing at school, this is a great chance to experience how much fun can be had by learning computing skills.

This event will be great for:
Parents keen to explore tech with their children
Teachers, or anyone interested in teaching others, who wants to see fun tools for learning
Anyone interested in running a maker party themselves

What we'll be making:
Remixing the web with X-Ray Goggles
Web pages with Thimble
Native web videos with Popcorn Maker
Mobile web apps with AppMaker
Music with Sonic Pi

What you need to know
This event is a family experience so children must be accompanied at all times.
There must be no more than 3 children per 1 adult.
Bring along your own laptop or tablet if you can.
