Awareness session covering potential consequences of disturbing asbestos and how to manage an asbestos event. The workshop also covers risks associated with legionella and checks that should be in place to reduce the risk.
By the end of the workshop, learners will be able to:
- Explain the purpose of an asbestos survey and register
- Explain the purpose of a Legionella Risk Assessment
- Describe the activities required for a school to be legally compliant
