Implementing the Pupil Premium - One day Regional Conference from Capita

Capita’s Implementing the Pupil Premium Regional Conference aims to address the implementation challenges facing schools and local authorities in the North East as they decide how the pupil premium grant should best be spent, covering key issues and themes including:

 

• Understanding the needs of pupils and developing suitable interventions
• Research-led approaches that make a difference
• Demonstrating impact and measuring outcomes

 

The conference will be chaired by Beccy Earnshaw, Director of SCHOOLS NorthEast, and speakers will include representatives from the Department for Education and Ofsted,  Professor Robert Coe, School of Education, Durham University, The Sutton Trust- Education Endowment Foundation, Sarah Bryson from Children NorthEast as well as school leaders, Sue Blair, Head Teacher, Pennine Way Primary School and Philomena Marshall, Executive Principal, Excelsior Academy.
