ICT for Education

27th Sep 2013

Are you satisfied with the ICT systems, equipment and infrastructure in your school?  Do they meet the requirements of students and staff, and impress prospective parents?  Do you like to be kept informed of the latest developments and issues concerning ICT in education today?

ICT for Education is hosting a conference in Newcastle on Friday 27 September at the Sports Direct Arena (St James’ Park), and you and your colleagues are welcome to attend.

The conference is free of charge for delegates, and includes lunch and refreshments.  With a great line-up of speakers (more details to follow), an exhibition of ICT products and services, a live product review and a Question Time- style debate on a topical regional issue. The event will also include a session on how to build a reliable, consistent and scalable wireless network that can support teaching and learning across school and underpin one-to-one and bring-your-own device environments.

The conference will be attended by Head Teachers, ICT subject leaders, ICT managers, coordinators and technicians; and others who have ICT responsibility and an interest in both the curricular subject and the broader use of ICT in their schools.

If you are thinking of updating your equipment and want to see what is available, and/or if you want to keep abreast of ICT developments in education and discuss them with peers, join us for a great day in Newcastle on Friday 27 September at the Sports Direct Arena (St James’ Park).

Registration starts at 7.45 am, and the conference will close at 2.15 pm.
