How to prepare for the Telecoms Network Switch Off

Wednesday 15th June, 2.00-15.00pm

For this the final webinar in this year's School Business Management programme, we will be joined by TGE Solutions.

BT, Virgin and most of the smaller UK phone operators have announced they will be switching off their PSTN (analogue) and ISDN phone line networks by 2025. This will have a major impact on most schools, forcing investment in technologies such as phone systems, broadband, alarm lines and lift lines. A lot of the advice given to schools about the Telecoms Network Switch Off can be misleading or not factual. The aim of the webinar is to stop schools from being exploited and provide school business leaders with the facts, so that the right actions can be taken at the right time.

The webinar will cover:

•  What is happening and when
•  What phone lines and technologies connected to them will be affected
•  What actions you need to take
•  When is the right time for your school to move to the new technologies
•  How to select the right phone system for your school
•  The importance of formulating a plan now
