Students will be given a chance to explore and experience the many vocational subjects available as a career and those in particular demand in the area. They can try out bricklaying, joinery, engineering, hairdressing, beauty, public services, media, art, early years, health care, sport, performing arts, business and IT. Students form the local area will be invited to attend this event via thier schools. The event is supported by the Skills Show, the European Social Fund and the National Careers service.
