George Stephenson Teaching School Alliance - Education Conference

22nd Jun 2015

Looking for new ideas to refresh and reinvigorate your teaching?

Want to find out about behaviour and guidance systems that really work?

George Stephenson Teaching School Alliance warmly invite you and your colleagues to join them at their three day conference Monday 22 - Wednesday 24 June 2015.

George Stephenson High School was awarded an “Outstanding” in every area when inspected by OFSTED in May 2012. We were absolutely delighted to receive this judgment following the long journey that we have been on and feel very proud of our school, but are far from complacent, always striving to improve further. We work very closely with our partner schools across our Alliance, sharing best practice and continuing to learn from one another. We would like to offer you and your colleagues the opportunity to share this experience with us.

Choose from a variety of sessions on each of themed days:
Monday 22nd June - Outstanding Core Departments - a focus on the Maths, English and Science Departments at GSHS, sharing practice with colleagues from other schools.

Tuesday 23rd June - Outstanding Teaching and Learning - a jam-packed day of workshops and learning walks delivered by professionals from across the GS Teaching School Alliance and including sessions on The Flipped Classroom, Challenge and Differentiation, Project Based Learning and SOLE amongst many more.

Wednesday 24th June - Outstanding Behaviour for Learning - Looking at effective guidance and behaviour management within outstanding secondary schools.

Places cost £100 per delegate per day, or £200 for 3 days (you can send different staff to each day).
