Here at Giglets, we love reading and sharing stories and understand how important literacy is to unlocking the wider curriculum. That is why we built the Giglets online library which has over 1100 enhanced texts in 37 different languages, with over 420 available in English.
With summer approaching and the weather just right for outdoor adventures, we are hosting a free online storytelling event for schools showcasing the Giglets story Going Camping.
We will be joined by professional storyteller Elaine Truckell who will deliver a wonderful live and interactive reading of Going Camping for teachers and pupils in classes across the UK.
There are two sessions to choose from: Thursday 9th June at 14:00 or Friday 10th June at 09:30. The story is appropriate for pupils in lower primary school and the event can be joined on a computer and shared on your classroom display board.
