First Aid at Work (Requalification)

The North East Ambulance Service provides award-winning, First Aid, Health and Safety and Trauma training.  Since 2012, we have trained over 22,000 delegates from over 1,400 businesses and organisations.

A First Aid at Work certificate must be renewed every three years by undertaking a two day requalification course. The course enables you to update your skills and knowledge learned as part of your First Aid at Work Certificate.

You can attend a requalification course up to three months before the expiry date of your certificate. If your certificate does expire you have 28 days after expiry to take the course. If your certificate is more than 28 days out of date you will need to complete a three day First Aid at Work course again.

Public courses open to individiual delegate bookings take place at our dedicated training centre at West Denton, Newcastle upon Tyne. We can also undertake training at your workplace or choice of venue for privately booked courses for up to 12 delegates. Please contact us if you’d like to discuss this.
