After many requests Prince Bishops Teaching School Alliance are again working with Kathy Bigio Kathy has over 25 years EYFS experience and was a Senior Teacher Advisor for Early Years at Lancashire County Council. Kathy was also employed in an advisory capacity in Lancashire County Council and Blackburn with Darwen Local Authority.

This brand new course responds to a real need in EYFS to clarify good practice in the light of ‘Bold Beginnings’ – the 2017 Ofsted report into early years. The three R’s have long been recognised as playing a crucial role in the Early Years curriculum and require dedicated teaching time in light of what actually works most effectively for young children.

Attendees: Head Teachers, EYFS leads and EYFS teachers

The course will help managers & leaders understand what effective practice should look like in EYFS. It will also support teachers and support staff in understanding their role in teaching and learning reading, writing and maths.
