This conference will bring together schools and offer practical support in developing enterprise education. There will be good practice examples from primary and secondary schools from across the North East and Cumbria.  The conference is one of 6 taking place across the country and is supported by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills.

Workshops will include:

Updates of national policy and the Lord Young Report, Enterprise For All
OFSTED Q/A
How to plan and develop enterprise education
Embedding enterprise into the curriculum
Linking to Employers
Linking to Higher Education
What does good practice look like?


For schools in the region this is a good opportunity to meet key support organisations, build relationships with other schools and start new conversations about the relationship between enterprise and education.   For North East businesses this a space to build relationships with schools who are shaping the workforce of the future.

The conference will be a mix of interactive workshops and practical sessions. The full agenda will be announced early February.

Organisations supporting for the day include Sky Academy, Young Enterprise, Institute of Financial Services, MyKindaCrowd, and the SSAT.
