Ednorth TeachMeet - Quality First Teaching

Tuesday 2nd July, 3.30 - 5.00pm

Join us at our next TeachMeet on Tuesday 2 July as we hear from colleagues across the North East, and join in the conversation as we discuss how to practice Quality First Teaching  in the classroom.

Quality First Teaching is a dynamic and multi-layered style of teaching that highlights the importance of delivering high-quality education to all students within an educational setting. This approach goes beyond traditional methods, focusing on whole-class teaching, while also incorporating elements of personalised teaching to meet the unique demands of pupil involvement.

Quality First Teaching includes-
* Inclusivity: Embraces all students, regardless of their abilities or requirements.
* Flexibility: Adapts to various subjects and grade levels.
* Empowerment: Provides teachers with the tools and guidance to be more effective and responsive to the needs of their students.
* Essential Skills: Prioritises the development of skills that are vital for success in the modern world.

TeachMeets are not about being an expert or having “silver-bullet” solutions, they are about practitioners sharing their classroom experiences with colleagues.  We would love to hear from you. If you are interested in speaking at this TeachMeet please fill out the form here.
