Earlier this year the North East was recognised as being one of the leading digital cities outside of London.Digital technology has the potential to create jobs and growth in the region, but industry predicts a significant digital skills shortage.

To what extent is the region’s digital skills base armed to meet the future demands and opportunities that the sector presents?

This panel debate, organised by Newcastle Science City, the Houses of Parliament Outreach Service and the Institute of Physics will discuss this key issue, giving you the opportunity to find out how Parliament select committees work, and how you can get involved in that work.
