Join Schools North East, The North Eastern ICT Partnership, the Police-led North Eastern Business Resilience Centre and Police North East Regional Cyber Crime Unit this May for our Cyber Resilience Event.
What is Cyber Resilience?
Unfortunately, like any organisation, schools can sometimes fall victim to a cyber attack or incident. This can disrupt services and adversely affect the operation of a school - and the security of the sensitive data it holds.
Cyber resilience is an organisation's ability to prepare for, respond to and recover from cyber attacks and security breaches. Cyber resilience is a concept that brings business continuity, information systems security and organisational resilience together.
At this event, you will be able to learn, amongst other topics:
What are the threats most likely to impact schools?
How to minimise your risk and keep your school as safe as possible;
To develop a business continuity plan for cyber in the event that you do get hacked; and
Available support services.
As well as learning about how to reduce your risk of a cyber attack and what to do should your school/ trust become a victim of one, there will also be plenty of time for you to ask the experts your own specific questions.
