Creative technology: beyond the code - IT skills for schools

Join around 100 of your peers for a FREE twilight event to connect with providers of computing CPD, coding and maker clubs, training and apprenticeships, careers advice, STEM ambassadors, and universities and colleges to share experience, gain practical advice and work towards:

Connecting schools with CPD and funding opportunities
Support for schools with the computing curriculum / building coding skills
More coding clubs and maker clubs in North East schools
Greater awareness of prospects of careers in IT
More IT apprentices
More women in IT
More IT companies engaging with schools around work experience, being a governor, sponsoring activities etc.

We hope this will be more than a networking event, resulting in some quick wins as well as long term outcomes for those attending.
