Bar modelling Training Course

In this workshop we will explore how the Singapore approach to teaching mathematics and the bar modelling method is used to develop pupils’ understanding of mathematical concepts.

We will also consider the bar modelling method as a valuable problem solving tool and how model drawing provides an important transition from the concrete to abstract concepts in key stages 1 to 4.

Please note: The course is not dependent on having first attended Inspire Maths training.  The workshops have been organised as a result of the excellent response to the Inspire Maths training sessions.

When is the course running?
We will be holding the course on 3 different dates, each day will be an entire course.  The course dates are:

Tuesday 20th October
Wednesday 21st October
Thursday 22nd October

*There are only 30 places available on each day, please book early to avoid disappointment*

How much does it cost? 
The course cost is only £125 per delegate.  This includes lunch and refreshments.
*this course normally retails at £195 per session when booked through OUP at London, Birmingham or Leeds
