AIM Awards National Launch Event

25th Apr 2012

OCNEMR has recently rebranded to AIM Awards and this event is an opportunity for us to formally present our new name to our customers. The education sector is currently experiencing a period of rapid change and this event aims to support our partners in responding to the new landscape.

We will have a presentation from Janet Ryland, Head of Funding Policy (Qualifications) at the Skills Funding Agency, on the Agency’s remit for confirming qualifications for funding, the focus on the Qualification and Credit Framework (QCF) and the context in terms of policy and provider freedom and flexibility through which the publicly funded offer will be confirmed. There will be workshops on the broad range of new qualifications that AIM will be introducing over the coming months together with practical examples on how they can be used to meet the new government agenda on  subjects such as  ‘What does 14-19 mean now?’, ‘Working with Challenging Learners’, ‘Supporting the Employability Journey’, ‘Care for the 21st Century’ and ‘Pre-Access and Access to Higher Education’. There will be opportunities throughout the day to meet the AIM team and ask any questions you might have about our new qualifications and the transition to our new provision.

Places are free and available to all current and prospective AIM Awards centres. To avoid disappointment book your place no
