Sarah Cooke

Sarah Cooke

HR Business Partner, NYES HR

After graduating, Sarah worked in the private sector before completing an MA in Human Resource Management. She has since gained a wide range of HR operational and strategic experience. She joined NYES HR in 2017 and since April 2022, Sarah has line managed the HR advisors who operate the team's advisory helpline.

Sarah’s current role includes supporting a range of clients, including large Multi-Academy Trusts to maintained settings across different geographical locations, advising on strategic HR issues and operational casework.


Amy Binks

Amy Binks

Senior HR Advisor (Casework), NYES HR

With a BA (Hons) degree in Human Resource Management and a Chartered Member of the CIPD, Amy gained a number of years' experience working in generalist HR roles for a Global Automotive Manufacturing Company in Essex, with a strong emphasis on restructuring, employee relations and attendance management. After taking a career break, Amy joined NYC in May 2017 as a HR Adviser. Complimenting this role, Amy has been a School Governor since 2015 and is also an accredited mediator.

Amy currently supports over 60 schools and academies mainly in North Yorkshire and Cumbria on a range of casework such as performance, change management, disciplinary, grievance, safeguarding and attendance.

Do I need to install Zoom?

You can join the call without downloading Zoom by clicking ‘join from browser’ when you launch the call on the day of the event.

Can I ask the presenter questions?

You can submit questions for the speaker when you register, using the Zoom registration form.

The Zoom chat function will also be available during the call and questions can be submitted here. You will also have the chance to unmute and speak directly with the speaker during any allocated Q&A sessions.
