If you didn’t think the Schools North East Academies Conference 2024 could get any better, just hold onto your desk chair… Catherine McKinnell MP, Shadow Minister for Schools, has confirmed her attendance and will address the audience in what’s sure to be an insightful occasion you’ll not want to miss.

Born in Denton, Newcastle, Catherine’s roots in the North East are deep. She grew up in the West End of the city and attended Sacred Heart Comprehensive School in Fenham, and her family goes back generations in this area.
