SCHOOLS NorthEast General Data Protection Regulation for Education Event

 

Due to further requests for information on the proposed changes to the data protection legislation, due May 2018, we are bringing this event to North Tyneside.

 

Speaker Jackie Gray, Partner, Womble Bond Dickinson (UK) LLP, will provide information about the key changes that are coming into place from 25 May 2018 together with some guidance on how this may affect education organisations.

 

In this two hour extended workshop Jackie Gray will provide delegates with practical guidance on what schools need to do to be ready for GDPR in May.  The session will include guidance on required internal and external documentation; policies & procedures and the role and responsibilities of the DPO.  The workshop will be interactive and provide delegates the opportuity to work in groups to share experience and ideas on how to become GDPR ready.
