Fire Warden Training

Our 1 day fire warden course covers 4 sessions:

Session 1 - The Role of the Fire Warden

• Principle duties of the fire warden
• Relevant legislation
• Fire hazards

Session 2 - Training and fire procedures

• Correct action on discovering a fire
• Raising the alarm
• Evacuation procedures
• Human behaviour in fire

Session 3 - Fire fighting equipment

• Classes of fire
• Types of fire extinguisher
• Correct selection and operation

Session 4 - Outdoor activity

• A practical session is incorporated which gives 'hands-on' training to delegates involving them in real fire training and personal evacuation techniques.

All delegates who successfully complete the course will be awarded a certificate of attendance.

Full fire protection/PPE, lunch and refreshments are provided. 

All training is carried out by either currently serving or retired fire-fighters.
