Bridging the Gap Between Employment and Education

To encourage businesses in Middlesbrough to sign up, Middlesbrough Achievement
Partnership (MAP) is hosting an event to outline the benefits the online platform brings. It is
viewed as an exciting opportunity for Middlesbrough to be the first local authority area in the
country to adopt such a platform to digitally connect a pathway between education and industry.

It will not only increase opportunities for young
people, but enable employers to identify and engage
with their future workforce early.

MAP will fund the joining fee for the first 100
employers attending the event and wishing to sign up.

Middlesbrough Mayor Dave Budd said: “Here in

of bringing the two together in an easy to use format and we’d like to encourage local employers
to consider using it as a tool to find the right people for their business.”
